How do I add my own vocals to a composition?
To add your own vocals, tap on the ‘Add Vocal’ ring in the ‘Create’ screen. Choose the part of the
song you'd like to add vocals to, type or paste your lyrics, and start recording.
Can I import vocals from external sources?
Currently, Hyph does not support importing vocals from external sources. However, we're always
looking to improve and expand our features based on user feedback.
Can I add my own lyrics?
Yes, you can add your own lyrics! After you've selected a part of the song to add vocals to, you can
type or paste your own lyrics into the lyrics box before you start recording.
Are there any limitations on the length or size of vocal recordings?
The length of your vocal recording is determined by the section of the song you've chosen to add
vocals to. There are no size limitations for vocal recordings.
Can I edit or modify the vocals once they are added?
Yes, after you've recorded your vocals, you can refine them with different effects, adjustments, and
precise trimming to create the perfect sound.
How can I adjust the volume of the vocals in relation to other sounds?
You can adjust the volume of the vocals using the volume mixer. Simply swipe left on the volume
icon, then drag the slider for the vocals to increase or decrease their volume relative to other
sounds.
Can I apply effects or filters to the vocals?
Yes, Hyph has a variety of effects and filters that you can apply to your vocals. These include
autotune, echo, and many more.
Is there an option to add harmonies or multiple vocal tracks?
Yes, Hyph allows you to add multiple vocal recording takes within one vocal ring. The app
automatically condenses all your vocal recordings into a single ring for a cohesive and unified
sound within your Hyph.
What options are available for editing or fine-tuning my recorded vocals?
You can fine-tune your vocals by adjusting the pitch, applying effects and filters, and trimming the
recording for precise timing.
Why do I need to use wired headphones?
Using wired headphones helps to prevent feedback from the speaker to the microphone while
recording vocals. In addition, wired headphones do not have the latency issues that can occur with
Bluetooth headphones, ensuring that what you hear is perfectly in sync with what you're recording.
